We finally made it to the powerful year of manifestation, 2020. As we know, 2020 is not only a new year, it represents a new decade, a new astrological era, a new chance for a new beginning.
According to numerologist experts, 2020 is a #4️⃣ year (2️⃣+0️⃣+2️⃣+0️⃣=4️⃣), powerful number that represents order and stability. Think of four pillars, one in each corner, equally supporting a strong, durable and stable foundation. A year where responsibility, family, home, is of essence while helping enforce manifestation energies, balance, conservation, peace, physical reality, and practical solutions.
No wonder our Divine guidance wanted us to ring in the new year with the aid of Citrine, our last — Monday’s are Fundays, 2019 crystal reading. In my opinion, wearing Citrine was epic!! Our Divine guidance sure wanted us to have a grand finale and end the year with a more positive outlook and to help us broaden our imagination and manifestation energies. Garnet, named after the Latin word granatum, which means pomegranate, gets the name for its similarity in the appearance and color of a pomegranate seed. Today, there are about seven different Garnets — Grossular, Spessartine, Rhodolite, Almandine, Black Andradite, Uvarovite, and Rainbow Garnet. All the Garnets known today, have a variety of colors and different properties but mostly, aluminum silicates, with a hardness of 6.5 - 7.5. Their crystal system also varies, ranging from isometric, rhombic, dodecahedron, or icositetrahedron.
Most Garnets’ existence go back to the Bronze Age when first discovered in Czechoslovakia and then found in Egypt five thousand or more years ago. Then later discovered in Sumeria, Sweeden, Ancient Greek and Roman civilizations. Throughout its discovery, Garnet became the stone for many jewelry makers as it was believed to promote powerful attributes of truth, faith and constancy and even dispelling melancholy. Some even used as remedy for hemorrhage and a protection of wounds. Garnet was said to be the only light in Noah’s ark, according to the Talmud.
All Garnets have different spiritual healing properties, but they all seem to carry the energy of prosperity and joy for life. Garnet has such a wide variety spectrum but we will only focus our attention to the main chakra activation and will go in depth with the most common of the seven — Grossular Garnet and Almandine Garnet.
Chakras Activation:
Metaphysically, crystals can help raise the vibrations for each of in-body chakra. We will refer to the main seven core chakras, each having a specific function and linked to a major nerve plexus that regulates and activates each core’s physical, psychological, and spiritual functions.
